Biography Marlish Glorie Novelist & Playwright Curriculum Vitae 2009 - The Bookshop on Jacaranda Street, Adult Contemporary Fiction. Published by Fremantle Press. Due for national and New Zealand released May 2009 2009 – Currently working on next novel - Oh, Happiness! 2009– Hunger on a Full Stomach. An Anthology of Short Stories. 2001 – 2004 – Completed eighty-five thousand-word manuscript titled The Reluctant Housewife. 2001 – Two hour play The Butcher produced at the Blue Room Perth. Highly successful and played to a sell-out season. (Short-listed for Melbourne Theatre Companies 2002 season.) 1996 - Successful reading of two-hour play titled The Garden Party at Blue Room Perth 1979 – 2001 written numerous plays of varying lengths. Brief overview of my teaching work. 1987 – 2009 – Conducted play wrighting workshops for Children’s Book week throughout Western Australia. Established and convened several writers groups. Current one has been running now for twelve years. Currently acting as mentor to new novelist. Have also taught Creative Writing at Tafe, and in Prisons.
