Biography I am an established YA and children’s author with 11 titles published by Fremantle Press and Thomson Learning. A 12th book is due early 2009. My titles have been shortlisted for various awards and are read widely in schools and homes across Australia. Most titles are now in second reprint. I have won several short fiction awards for both children and adults. I’m the ARA for SCBWI Western Australia. I’ve also served on the State Literature Board of WA and am an active member of the Albany SPRUNG Writers Festival. I have a teaching background and have worked with adults and children within Australia and overseas (Nepal & Japan). Through my work as a children’s author, I visit schools and libraries across WA communities – urban, regional, remote and indigenous.
