Join the pride and contribute to West Australia's rich literary culture.
The generous support of our Literary Lions enables writingWA to initiate programmes that support Western Australian authors and publishers, and promote West Australian books to audiences throughout this state and beyond.
Literary Lions donations have already led specifically to the creation of the Natural Selection showcase of WA authors and books, viewed by more than 60,000 people in 2011, and in 2012 will enable the creation of a Project 360 book app developed from a published West Australian children's picture book.
Further donations in 2012 will be directed towards activities under writingWA's A Glass of Wine and a Good Book® programme. This unique initiative seeks to co-promote leading WA authors and publications alongside premium West Australian wines.
Activities in the 2012 programme will include a series of wine tastings and meet-the-author events to be held in independent bookshops across the metropolitan area, in addition to a programme of guest author events to be held at selected cellar doors in the Swan Valley.

Donations can also be made conveniently and securely through the Australia Business Arts Foundation's Australia Cultural Fund.
All donations receive a tax deductible receipt.
