The Department of Culture and the Arts is looking to establish a database of writers it can draw upon to provide articles for its biannual Artsline magazine.
In addition, the Department may require writers to provide a number of supplementary articles for a new online edition of Artsline to be created in early 2009.
The purpose of Artsline is to contribute to discussion and debate within Western Australian arts and cultural sectors and to promote the activities of the Development and Strategy Directorate (DSD) and the Department. DSD is seeking interest from writers who would like to be included in the database to be considered to provide content for the next edition of Artsline, which will be published on 1 September 2008, and other future editions.
Please note that all text for the next Artsline Spring 2008 will need to be submitted by the 7th July 2008. Story Ideas and, where relevant, contact details will be provided by DSD, in discussion with the consultant.
