WordWired

WordWired is dedicated to providing development, publication and social opportunities for young Australian writers.  This year, WordWired will be enabling teenage writers to see their work in a magazine which will have national distribution.  Submissions for the first edition are now open and can be made via an online forum before the 30th of June.  Writers can post creative and journalistic pieces, receive constructive suggestions from other young writers, and make like-minded friends across the country.

Teenage visual artists (including photographers) are also sought for illustrations.  Anyone interested in being added to the illustrations mailing list can email the editor at jacinta@wordwired.com.

Contributions from rural and remote areas are strongly encouraged.

WordWired was founded by Jacinta Rosielle, an experienced high school English teacher and songwriter. She offers creative writing tuition to children aged 7-17 years in Perth, Western Australia. If you would like more information about these groups, please contact Jacinta by emailing jacinta@wordwired.com.
