What is performance poetry? How does it work? How do you write it?
What else can you bring to your work when it is spoken or performed?
This workshop is for those who want to get their poems on to the stage or for those who simply want to improve their reading techniques.
The workshop will cover exercises and ways to improve your ability to perform your poetry; innovative approaches to creative writing and the importance of rehearsal and editing
Bring along some poetry or other works and we'll run through them as performance pieces - if time permits.
