"Editing Across Borders"

posted in Events on 2011-10-05

‘Editing Across Borders’ is the theme for the 6th IPEd National Editors Conference to be held in Perth, Western Australia, 10-13 April 2013. It’s a theme that encompasses diversity across physical, cultural, technological and ideological borders.

Perth is more than a city in the midst of a resources boom. We want to show you that if you look at it the right way you can see treasure everywhere; whether it’s nature, culture, heritage or fossicking on the beach.

At the Perth conference we will be crossing borders of several kinds to find treasure.
• Cross international borders to discuss how we work with different cultures and find what connects us.
• Cross cultural borders to learn how we can work better to give people the clear messages they want to see.
• Cross technological borders as we dive into new technologies.
• Cross ideological borders to move with the times.

We invited writers and those connected with writing, publishing and editing in any way to register their interest in attending by visiting the website - http://www.editorswa.com/conference - and signing up for our newsletter.
