The Public Lending Right (PLR) Annual Report for 2006-7 shows over $7million paid in PLR and $10.4million paid in Education Lending Right (ELR).
PLR makes payments to eligible authors and publishers whose books are held in public libraries; ELR covers educational libraries.

626 new claimants registered for the PLR programme
2808 new books were registered
8866 claims were paid
